BMP- Self-Guided Conservation Practices Tour- A chance for everyone within the watershed to view alternative or best management practices being used by producers around the area to protect water and all other natural resources.  Take the virtual guide or print off a county map to see how these practices work first hand.

CoCoRaHS Rain Gauge Project-  Ninety-eight high capacity all-weather rain gauges have been purchased by the BCMSHRW for distribution in Trego, Ellis, Russell, and Ellsworth counties for producers and businesses to track daily precipitation and post results online for public view.

Winter Feeding Site Demonstration-  A two-part demonstration for producers in the Big Creek and Middle Smoky Hill River Watersheds to determine the impacts of proper maintenance of winter feeding grounds for cattle with relation to bacteria and nutrient movement in the soil profile.
